The Origin Story

Jay Won, better known as Sinatraa, began his journey in the rainy suburbs of Shoreline, Washington, where he developed a competitive edge playing Halo 3 and Counter-Strike. His transition to Overwatch in 2016 saw him rise quickly through the amateur ranks with Selfless Gaming, where his hyper-aggressive Tracer and Zarya playstyles became legendary. By age 17, he was the subject of an intense bidding war, eventually signing a record-breaking $150,000 contract with the San Francisco Shock for the inaugural Overwatch League season.

Rise to Fame

2019 marked the pinnacle of Sinatraa's professional career as he led the San Francisco Shock to a dominant Overwatch League Championship. That same year, he was awarded the League's Most Valuable Player (MVP) and spearheaded Team USA’s first-ever gold medal victory at the Overwatch World Cup, earning the World Cup MVP title as well. In a shocking move in early 2020, he announced his retirement from Overwatch at the height of his success to pursue a new career in Valorant with the Sentinels, once again proving his versatility and mechanical dominance in a new tactical genre.
